The EFI Fiery® JDF Connector (FJC) bridges the gap between creative, production and management information solutions, making digital production faster and more efficient. It also increases value and productivity of solutions by automating digital workflow. In addition, FJC facilitates greater movement of job details such as job numbers, descriptions, parts information, colors, production counts and start and stop times. The solution caters to businesses that want to connect their Fiery to JDF-enabled solutions.
Feature Highlights
- Streamlined workflow. With the FJC-enabled workflow, print buyers can submit product descriptions directly to the Fiery server, where the text is converted to print instructions for the digital device.
- Advanced job management capabilities. The solution enables jobs submitted to the Fiery server to be registered into EFI Print MIS solutions, allowing for precise accounting. It also permits EFI Print MIS solutions to define and submit jobs to the Fiery server without being bound to specific content. In addition, FJC provides late content binding, instantaneous job and device tracking, and pre-and-post calculations of graphic arts jobs.
